Each stage adds capability, responsibility and challenge until you are ready to travel, camp and operate as an expedition team.

Arrival & Settle In

Arrive at our stunning site in Finnish Lapland. Settle in, enjoy a sauna and share great food.

Skills & Prep

Learn key winter skills and begin building your quinzee snow shelter.

Quinzee Night

Finish your shelter and spend the night outdoors in the Arctic.

04–05

Expedition Days

Hike out, stay out and eat out. Travel, explore and experience the wild together, then hike back in.

Back to Comfort

Return to accommodation for a hot shower, sauna,great food and an evening of celebration.

Reflect & Depart

Look back on an epic adventure and head home inspired.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need previous experience?
No. Skills are taught progressively with support throughout.
How fit do I need to be?
You need a reasonable base level of fitness and should be comfortable being active outdoors for several hours.
Can I join on my own?
Yes. Solo travellers are welcome and quickly become part of the group.
How cold might it be?
Temperatures may fall below −20°C by day and towards −30°C overnight. Preparation includes clothing and cold-management guidance.
What equipment is provided?
A detailed kit list is supplied. Some specialist equipment can be loaned by prior agreement.
When do I need to commit?
Final dates and booking terms will be confirmed before you are asked to commit financially.
